Intellectual Resources
As
the largest construction enterprise
and the largest international contractor
in China, CSCEC has, through decades’
operation, fostered a number of professionals
and a highly skilled and competent workforce.
By the end of 2002, CSCEC had a total
workforce of 122,500, among whom 62.3
thousand were administrators and technicians,
amounting to 50.87 % of total staff;
26.5 thousand were junior and senior
technicians, up to 42.5% of total technicians.
CSCEC is proud of possessing about 500
experts including academicians of China
Engineering Academy, national engineering
planning and designing masters, national
excellent presidents of planning and
design institutes, national government-allowanced
experts, and senior engineers (architects).
17 thousand professionals of first or
second-grade project managers, certified
architects, chartered structural engineers,
chartered cost engineers, chartered
project supervisors and project administrators
and nearly 100 international specialists
such as MCIOB and chartered QS are the
core working force of CSCEC.
To achieve the CSCEC’s goal of “being
the most competitive Chinese construction
enterprise in international market and
entering the rank of the world top 500
by global revenue and world top 10 international
contractors by international revenue
before 2010”, we will constantly confirm
that human resource is the first resource
of enterprise, insist on taking of human
resource management as the most essential
and important strategic support for
enterprise development. We will establish
such human resource management system
which provides room for talents’ career
development, relaxed working atmosphere
and reasonable salary. We will pay greater
attention to the special value function
of HR capital, foster high-quality business
managers and innovative technical personnel,
and strengthen the talent team that
grows together with the enterprise.
